Expert Learner

Awards trip (2)A student’s attitude to their learning in school is the single most important factor in academic success, and our Expert Learner scheme aims to recognise and encourage all of our learners to strive to be the best they can be.

The scheme runs in three sessions over the school year. Each term students record their progress against their academic targets, as well as attendance, punctuality, reward points, behaviour points, equipment, PE kit, homework, extra-curricular activities and citizenship. These scores give a grade each term which classifies our students into 4 groups:

Expert Learners

^

Advanced Learners

^

Developing Learners

^

Potential Learners

Each term is a new beginning, so every student has the opportunity to aspire to be an Expert Learner, and to improve their attitude to learning each term.

We recognise and reward our Expert Learners each term, with activities intended to add to their ‘cultural capital’ and expand their horizons.

Visits include Bletchley Park and the Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology in Cambridge.

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
