Educational visits

dofe 1 (Large)In the secondary years, educational visits have a wide range of purposes including team-building, developing decision-making skills and helping students to acquire the knowledge to interpret and succeed in a complex and fast-changing world.

The Impact day programme brings an extensive range of visitors into the school who help students access such diverse issues as road safety, health and sex education, personal finance and human rights.  During visits to Norwich and London students learn about the wider communities of which they are part.  Similarly, horizons are extended further by the opportunity to travel further to France, Germany and Spain, focusing on a range of subjects such as languages, history and art.

The Duke of Edinburgh award programme is very popular at the school and every year, large numbers of students are involved in expeditions.

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
