Our School

Aims and Values

Our aims are rooted in our values, which are outlined below.

We are committed to providing education of the highest quality, so that every pupil can achieve their potential. The school’s curriculum is therefore ambitious, broad and balanced. It is implemented well to ensure that pupils gain the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life. As an all-through school, the curriculum has been coherently planned and sequenced from EYFS to Year 11 towards cumulatively sufficient knowledge and skills for future learning and employment.

We seek to provide expert teaching, alongside a broad range of opportunities and experiences, both inside and outside the classroom, within a stimulating, friendly and hard-working environment.

We aim to prepare our pupils for the challenges and opportunities ahead, by enabling them to make sensible, informed decisions, in order to take their place as active members of society. All are encouraged to develop their spiritual, moral, social and cultural capital and an unprejudiced view of other races, religions and cultures.
