Welcome from the Headteacher

It is a privilege to be the Headteacher of Litcham School and to serve the children and families of Litcham and the surrounding villages. As an all-through school at the heart of our community, we are ambitious for every young person and proud of the role we play in their education and development.

At Litcham, we believe every child deserves an excellent education in calm, purposeful classrooms where expectations are high and relationships are strong. Our focus is on ensuring that all students learn well, feel supported and leave us with the knowledge, qualifications and character they need for the future. We continue to strengthen the quality of education across the school through a clear emphasis on great teaching, an ambitious curriculum from Reception to Year 11, and a culture where all students can succeed without disruption.

Our all-through structure is a real strength. Staff know students well as they grow through the school and there is a strong sense of community. Alongside academic learning, we place great importance on personal development, enrichment and student leadership so that pupils gain confidence and a sense of responsibility.

We are proud of Litcham School and the positive culture we are continuing to build together. We want our school to be a place where students work hard, feel valued and achieve well; where staff are supported to do their best work; and where parents and carers feel confident and proud to be part of our community.
